Center photo:The Nicholls Reading Council Membership Drive took place last recently at the Clarion Inn. The guest speaker was Aretha Williams, below, a Louisiana Reading Association board member. She offered motivational words to share ideas to inspire everyone to promote the love of literacy. She joined the membership drive. The sponsors of the membership drive were Clarion Inn, Neighborhood Wal-Mart of Morgan City, and Cannata’s Supermarket of Morgan City.
