Hunting for eggs was just part of the fun at the Wedell-Williams Aviation and Cypress Sawmill Museum’s Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Festival.
Speed was key when children ages 5-7 looked for eggs.

Slides, space walks, pictures with the Easter Bunny and more were part of the Wedell-Williams Aviation and Cypress Sawmill Museum’s Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Festival on Saturday.

Museum egg hunts draw crowd
The Louisiana State Museum – Patterson was the site for the Wedell-Williams Aviation and Cypress Sawmill Museum’s Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Festival on Saturday.
A large crowd of children and adults attended the fundraiser which included egg hunts for children ages 2-10, super slides, space walks, face painting, train rides and pictures with the Easter Bunny. A child in the three age divisions also won a bicycle.
Funds raised help to fund future museum projects.
Entry to the museum is free. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
