Morgan City set to celebrate the Fourth

Morgan City’s Fourth of July Celebration in Lawrence Park will be Saturday.
The schedule begins 1-4 p.m. with the Kids Korner, featuring a train ride, face painting, a dunk tank and more.
Driftwood will perform 4-6 p.m. followed by Forgetting Last Friday 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Food will be available, including offerings from Xtreme Athletics Burgers, the Asian Cajun Trailer, the Walker’s BBQ Trailer and Daigle’s Sweet Treats.
Soft drinks, water, beer and frozen margaritas will be available.
The fireworks over the river will begin at 9 p.m.
