Morgan City High's Class of '24 receives diplomas

Morgan City High conferred diplomas Friday night on 142 members of its Class of 2024.
The class included 29 students who graduate with summa cum laude honors, which come with grade point averages of at least 3.75.
Principal Lacie Quintanilla addressed the graduates, as did top graduates Michelle Beals and Tin Hunyh. Senior class President Hannah Fryou welcomed the graduates.
The class song is "Best Day of My Life."
