Morgan City High orientation slated

Morgan City High School has scheduled orientation for July 30 and Aug. 1.
On Monday, July 30, freshmen with names starting with A through M are scheduled for 8-10 a.m.; sophomores 10:30-noon; and juniors 1-2:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, Aug. 1, freshmen with names beginning with N through Z are on the schedule for 8-10 a.m. Seniors will have orientation from 1-2:30 p.m.
Students will receive locker combinations, identification cards and a tentative schedule.
Seniors will be able to by a Tiger-striped bandana and socks set for $12. Quantities are limited.
Freshman days will include a welcome session from administrators, school tour, ID pictures, locker combinations and organizational information. Parents are encouraged to attend for the opening of the freshman sessions 8-8:20 a.m.
The dress code is school appropriate casual attire.
All students are required to pay a $25 school fee, which includes the cost of their lockers, planners, ID cards, and the math and English fee.
Parking permits will be sold for $5 to students who are able to show a valid driver’s license.
Open House is scheduled for 6 p.m. Aug. 16.
Students return to school Aug. 8.
