Morgan City arrest results in meth, heroin charges

An Assumption Parish man was arrested by Morgan City police Aug. 5 on heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana charges, police reports said.
On Friday. the Morgan City Police Department released arrest reports covering the period since Aug. 5.
Morgan City
Police Chief James F. Blair reported that the week of Aug. 5-12, the department made these arrests:
—Robert Lee Fair, 47, Paincourtville, was arrested at 2:36 p.m. Aug. 5 on charges of littering in public places, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of uniform controlled dangerous substance laws (drug-free zone).
—Rachel Lynn King, 37, Fifth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:35 a.m. Aug. 5 on charges of disturbing the peace and resisting an officer.
—Jodie Aucoin, 37, Cane Road, Centerville, was arrested at 11:02 a.m. Aug. 5 on charges of disturbing the peace, resisting an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
—Talencia Thomas, 29, Wise Street, Patterson, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. Aug. 6 on a charge of disturbing the peace.
—Malynn Stevens, 32, Onstead Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Aug. 6 on charges of criminal damage to property ($1,000-$5,000), entry or remaining after forbidden, and domestic abuse battery.
—Ryan Delahoussaye, 27, Fourth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. Aug. 7 on a 6th Ward Court warrant alleging failure to pay fines.
—Joseph Deeters, 25, Egle Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:27 a.m. Aug. 9 on a charge of disturbing the peace and a warrant alleging attempted home invasion.
—Jose Perez, 36, Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 7:23 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant alleging aggravated assault.
—Raven Piggott, 27, Duke Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday on 6th Ward Court warrants alleging four counts of failure to pay fines.
—Crystal Gail Thompson, 43, Egle Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday on 6th Ward Court warrants alleging two counts of failure to pay fines.
—Anthony J. Pennison Jr., 50, La. 63, Morgan City, was arrested at 7:16 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of disturbing the peace.
—Chad Adams, 38, Roderick Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. Thursday on 6th Ward Court warrants alleging contempt of court related to terms of probation and trial.
—Frank Rock, 33, La. 182, Morgan City, at 9:25 a.m. Thursday on 6th Ward Court warrants alleging failure to appear for arraignment and contempt of court related to fine and arraignment.
—William R. Shamblin III, 59, Queen City Avenue, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was arrested at 9:26 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense) and driving on a divided highway.
St. Mary
Sheriff Blaise Smith advised that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 36 complaints and made these arrests:
—Terence L. Singleton, 52, Patterson, was arrested at 9:02 a.m. Thursday on charges of procedure on approaching emergency vehicles and driving under suspension. Singleton was released on a summons to appear Nov. 2.
—Kimaya Marie Joseph, 27, Franklin, was arrested at 3:22 p.m. Thursday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. Joseph was released on a summons to appear Nov. 2.
—Gregory Dixon, 46, Alexandria, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. Friday on a charge of disturbing the peace (fighting). Dixon was released on a summons to appear Nov. 2.
—Joequarious Simmons, 23, Osyka, Mississippi, was arrested at 12:32 a.m. Friday on a charge of disturbing the peace (fighting). Simmons was released on a summons to appear Nov. 2.
Assumption
Sheriff Leland Falcon reported this arrest:
—Lee Roby, 39, Te Nom Road, Donaldsonville, was transported Thursday to Assumption Parish after his arrest on a charge of probation or parole violation.
Roby is on probation for a felony conviction in Assumption Parish.
Roby was incarcerated in Ascension Parish until Thursday, at which time he was released to Assumption Parish.
Roby was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center and ordered to be held without bond.
