More fishing rodeo fund recipients

The Morgan City Open Fishing Rodeo organization distributed the proceeds from this year's rodeo and the associated golf tournament Wednesday at South Louisiana Community College's Young Memorial Campus in Morgan City. The events raised about $36,000 for educational and service agencies. On hand from the MCOFR organization Wednesday were President Sammy Cannata, Jo Anne Bergeron and Jonathan Scully.
