Central Catholic High recently presented awards and scholarships. The Juliet Beadle Scholarship is given to a senior who has declared education as a college major. Seniors Taylor Picou, Quincee Wiggins, Sara Price and Bayli Scully were awarded the scholarships. They're shown with Principal Vic Bonnaffee.
Keith Thibodeaux, grand knight of Holy Cross Council 12179, presented seniors Alyssa Burton and Beau Bordelon with the Catholic Youth Leadership Award and Scholarship.
Tyler Longman was recognized as the Class of 2018 valedictorian. He is presented with a plaque by Principal Vic Bonnaffee.
The Elizabeth Grace Russo Award and Scholarship go to the senior who has completed the most science courses during four years and has earned the highest average in those courses. Tori Estay was this year's recipient. Principal Bonnaffee presents the award.
The East St. Mary Kiwanis Club Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding Key Club member. This year’s recipient from Central Catholic High School was Tyler Longman. Presenting Tyler with his scholarship is Gwen Luc.
MC Bank's “Hometown Spirit” Scholarship was presented by Emily Berry to Central Catholic High School senior Madelyn Gros.
