The Living Rosary

October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This is primarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually Oct. 7. A Living Rosary was held at Holy Cross Church on that day led by the Rev. Brice Higgenbotham along with students and faculty at Central Catholic, grades Pre-K3 through 12th, participating. Members of the public were invited. Higgenbotham began the rosary and high school principal, Peter Boudreaux, and elementary school principal, Amanda Talbot, as well as faculty and individual students each recited one of the prayers. Pictured are the more than 500 people who participated in the Rosary.
