Lighting up Patterson

Patterson residents and their neighbors gathered Sunday night at Morey Park for the annual lighting of the community Christmas tree. More lightings are scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday (Bayou Vista Community Center), 6 p.m. Thanksgiving night at the Spirit of Morgan City shrimp boat, and 6 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Berwick lighthouse. The Bayou L'Ourse Volunteer Fire Department will host Santa 5-7 p.m. Dec. 16 at 333 La. 663.
