Marcel Walker and Erinique Wilson were named Amani King and Queen XXV during the Krewe of Amani tableau held Saturday at the Patterson Area Civic Center. As the krewe celebrated 25 years, the theme was, “Wonders of Fairy Tales.” In keeping with that theme, the king represented “Prince Charming” and the queen depicted “Cinderella.” The krewe also presented its Lundi Gras parade in Patterson on Tuesday.
