ABOVE: Donald “Brick” Triggs Sr. and Veronica Brooks are King and Queen Amani XXIV and were presented Saturday during the Krewe of Amani Court held at the Patterson Area Civic Center. In keeping with the theme, “Amani Presents 1,001 Arabian Nights,” the king was The Sultan and the queen was Scheherazade.
