Kids meet K-9s

The Morgan City Public Library's Summer Reading Program opened Thursday with a visit from city Officers Ricardo Aguilar and Zeke Sampey and K-9s Millow and Dally. In the top photo, youngsters had the chance to pet Dally. In the middle photo, they saw Millow, being held by Aguilar, put a bite on the padded arm of Sampey. The program continues with another MCPD visit June 29; a Coast Guard appearance July 6; the Petting Zoo on July 13; magicians Frank and Tammy on July 20; and closing ceremonies July 27.
