Keep St. Mary Beautiful receives grant

Keep Louisiana Beautiful’s affiliate, Keep St. Mary Beautiful, is the winner of the 2020 Community Cleanup Supply Grant.
Keep Louisiana Beautiful is a state-level, anti-litter and community improvement organization focused on education, enforcement, awareness and clean-ups.
Affiliates receiving this grant are rewarded with gloves, safety vests, heavy duty bags and T-shirts. The grant will aid Keep St. Mary Beautiful in performing monthly cleanups in the parish.
Keep Louisiana Beau-tiful’s mission is to “promote personal, corporate and community responsibility for a clean and beautiful Louisiana.”
Keep Louisiana Beau-tiful, the state’s largest community improvement organization, has provided Louisiana communities over $3.3 million in grants since 2004 to address local environmental issues. Last year alone, Keep Louisiana Beautiful and its network of affiliates and partners removed over 236 tons of litter, recycled 680 tons, planted over 2,700 trees, and educated 25,243 students with the help of over 65,000 volunteers at a value of $1.6 million.
Keep St. Mary Beautiful has received over $48,000 in grants.
