Holiday closings

All area municipal and St. Mary Parish offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving.
The Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill in Berwick will be closed all day on Thanksgiving Day and will be open on Friday.
Republic Services that collects residential garbage in Morgan City will not run its route on Thursday, but will run on Friday. Residents are asked to put their receptacles to the street on Thursday night due to an expected early morning pickup on Friday.
Pelican Waste & Debris that serves the remaining Tri-City area will collect its Thursday routes. Residents are asked to put receptacles to the street on Wednesday night due to an expected early morning pickup on Thanksgiving Day.
The Morgan City Review will also be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Advertising and news deadlines for Friday’s paper have already passed. Delivery of Friday’s paper via U.S. Post Office should not be affected. Friday’s Morgan City Review will also be available in sales racks throughout the Tri-City area.
