Holiday closings

St. Mary Parish offices and municipal offices in Morgan City, Berwick and Patterson will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day.
The Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill in Berwick and the West End Solid Waste Pick Up Station in Franklin will close at noon Sept. 7.
As of Tuesday, Pelican Waste & Debris and Waste Pro had announced no changes in the regular pickup schedule. They often urge residential customers to set out trash cans the night before a holiday to accommodate early landfill closures.
The Morgan City Review office will be closed Sept. 7.
The obituary deadline, 8 a.m. Tuesday for the Wednesday, Sept. 9 edition, will be unchanged. The classified and legal ad deadlines for the Wednesday, Sept. 9, edition will be 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4.
