Headed for Quantico

Submitted Photo
Central Catholic sophomore Rylie Jeau Theriot was the sole representative chosen as the Louisiana candidate for the FBI Youth Leadership Program in Quantico, Virginia, this June. Each year, the Youth Leadership Program is limited to 60 students from the United States and around the world making the selection process is therefore highly competitive. It is based on academics, citizenship, an essay written on leadership, and then a final interview by an executive leadership team. Theriot will participate in this intense nine-day program of classroom study, guest lectures, leadership experiences, and physical challenges including a replica of the 6.2 mile physical fitness course at the FBI National Academy known as “Yellow Brick Road.” Rylie Jeau is the daughter of Beau and Sarah Theriot. Pictured with Theriot is Capt. George Ansardi, headquarter supervisor, Kenner Police Department FBINAA Youth Leadership Program.
