After more than a month of COVID-19 restrictions imposed by the Governor's Office, churches are once more allowed to conduct indoor services. Churches in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, including Holy Cross in Morgan City, pictured here, got the OK to resume outdoor services May 12 and then to have indoor Masses on Sunday. The resumption of services included social distancing requirements, occupancy limits and mask requirements. Those who are especially vulnerable to COVID-19, those over 65 and those with underlying health conditions, were relieved of their duty to attend Mass for now.
