One of Morgan City's often overlooked points of interest is the Veterans Memorial near Municipal Auditorium. The statue shows three soldiers, dressed in combat gear from wars that are separated by a century, presenting an American flag to a child. A folded flag is a traditional keepsake for the families of troops who died in action.
