Funeral Tuesday for longtime clerk of court

A Tuesday funeral is planned for Clifford G. Dressel, the longtime St. Mary Parish clerk of court who died Friday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 915 Main St., Franklin
Dressel, 79, worked for 59 years in the Clerk of Court's Office. He served 10 four-year terms as clerk.
He announced in 2023 that he wouldn't run for an 11th term.
