Five arrests on marijuana charges by Morgan City police

Morgan City police on Monday reported five arrests on marijuana charges. Morgan City officers also accused a woman of speeding at 110 mph and driving while intoxicated.

Morgan City

Police Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 71 calls for service over the last 72-hour reporting period and made these arrests:

--Richard John Tabor Jr., 18, La. 317, Franklin, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Saturday on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

--Colin Michael Finley, 19, La. 317, Franklin, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Saturday on a charge of possession of marijuana.

--Elizabeth Ann Marie Fontenot, 19, Oak Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Saturday on a charge of possession of marijuana.

--Amber Holifield, 30, Lapetiteville Lane, Morgan City, was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Saturday on a charge of possession of marijuana.

--Christian C. Womack, 35, Fifth Street, Berwick, was arrested at 1:58 a.m. Saturday on charges of possession of marijuana, illegal carrying of a weapon and possession of a firearm in an alcohol establishment.

--Gabrielle Frances McNease, 30, Rive Road, Berwick, was arrested at 4:32 a.m. Sunday on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense), speeding 110 mph in a 60 mph zone and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

--Isaac F. Huntley, 58, Front Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 8:18 p.m. Sunday on charges of driving while intoxicated (second offense), possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

--James Wayne Bullock, 55, Gen. Patton Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:38 a.m. Friday on two counts of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Peter Emmanuel Grogan Jr., 44, Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 11:56 a.m. Friday on charges of failure to appear for executory sentence and failure to appear for revocation (16th Judicial District Court).

--Salvador Montoya-Rangel, 52, Barrow Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:34 p.m. Friday on charges of failure to yield to emergency vehicle, possession of fraudulent documents and no driver’s license.

--Cigie L. Broussard, 32, Felix Street, Jeanerette, was arrested at 6:42 p.m. Friday on a charge of disturbing the peace (intoxicated).

--Bryanshekia Shantell Harris, 35, La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:27 a.m. Saturday on three counts of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Richard Jose Amador-Valladares, 26, Chennault Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:19 a.m. Sunday on charge of driving while intoxicated (first offense) and no driver’s license.

--Josue Cordova, 34, Patton Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 3:02 a.m. Sunday on a charge of domestic abuse battery.

Patterson

Police Chief Garrett Grogan reported these arrests:

--Dexter B. Nerve, 35, Williams Street, Patterson, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Friday on a charge of possession of a Schedule I drug. Nerve was issued a summons.

--Timothy L. Jones, 34, Dena Drive, New Iberia, was arrested at 9:0 p.m. Oct. 22 on charges of possession of a Schedule I drug (4 grams) and no stop lights. Jones was released on a summons.

--Jose H. Rosa Maldonado, 32, Village Lane, Amelia, was arrested at 3:48 a.m. Monday on charges of speeding 1-10 mph over the limit and no driver’s license. Maldonado paid a $536 fine and was released.

St. Mary

Sheriff Blaise Smith reported that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 89 complaints and made these arrests:

--Tyreik Harrison, 21, Franklin, was arrested at 4:43 p.m. Friday on a Patterson Police Department warrant alleging failure to appear on the charges of stop sign violation and seat belt violation. Harrison was released on a paid fine.

--Kashif Jermaine Wallace, 34, Amelia, was arrested at 3:38 p.m. Saturday on a charge of simple burglary. Bail was set at $12,000.

--Donald J. Sanders IV, 18, Franklin, was arrested at 1:06 p.m. Saturday on a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm. Sanders was released on a $20,000 bond.

--Danny Wayne Aucoin, 48, Donaldsonville, was arrested at 3:53 a.m. Sunday on a charge of simple criminal damage. Aucoin was released on a $1,000 bond.

--Gram Davis Armstrong, 43, Fort Worth, Texas, was arrested at 4:27 p.m. Sunday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and improper driving on a one-way roadway. Bail was set at $5,000.

--Javonte Jaheim Miller, 19, Houma, was arrested at 11:35 a.m. Monday on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal carrying of a weapon and possession of a firearm in the presence of controlled dangerous substance.

Bail was set at $13,500.
