Donated items for flood victims

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson was a collection point for items donated to flood victims in central Texas. The donated items, part of a Diocese of Lafayette drive, are to be taken to Lafayette on Wednesday for transport to Texas. Church Office Manager Bobbie Diaz, shown here Tuesday, said members of at least one other church contributed items for the supply drive. "It's a Patterson thing," Diaz said.
