At Tuesday's Berwick Town Council meeting, Kelli Cantu of Chez Hope, third from left, was presented with a proclamation making October Domestic Violence Awareness Month. A two-mile “Walking With A Purpose” event by Chez Hope is scheduled at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Parish Courthouse in Franklin.
