St. Mary Council on Aging Director Beverly Domengeaux was named Citizen of the Year on Saturday by Helping Hearts Foundation President Herman Hartman. At age 90, Domengeaux directs an organization that delivers about 4,500 meals to seniors each year. The Saturday banquet was a fundraiser for the foundation, which helps families pay the burial expenses for loved ones.
