Church hosts police, firefighters

On March 29, , the Morgan City Police Department and the Morgan City Fire Department were invited to a luncheon hosted by the First Baptist Church in Morgan City. Responders were able to fellowship with the Revs. Tracey Smith and Sam Moore. An excellent meal was prepared by the members of the church which was tasty and delightful, the Police Department said. Chief James F. Blair and the Morgan City Police Department thanked the Rev. Smith along with the members of the First Baptist Church for the invitation and fellowship. "Your kind words of support are greatly appreciated by all, as is your Community Partnership," the Police Department said.
