Many people helped Laubach along the way to achieving her goal as National American Miss Louisiana Teen. Her thank you letter to her supporters states:

“When I was a shy 12-year-old, I competed in the National American Miss pageant for the first time. It was 2015 at the time, and my only goal was to get through an interview. This was my biggest fear.

“After pageant weekend, not only did I walk away with a Top Ten placement, but also memories, friends, and a high-scoring interview. I have noticed a change in myself since the first steps I took on the National American Miss stage. A change that brought about the better version of me.

"It is so amazing to see myself, the young girl who dreamed of growing up to be a princess, now becoming a confident nineteen-year-old, excited to experiencing many, many interviews.

"My biggest one to date landed me an internship with one of the world’s largest entertainment industries, Walt Disney World.

“Last year, I came back to the National American Miss system ready to share the side of me that the NAM judges did not see back then.

"I rounded out my pageant weekend with multiple awards, a Top Five placement, and the urge to keep growing. I was able to attend the National All American Miss pageant where I gained more experience and made life-long friendships.

“I want to give a big thank you to you! You are the reason I continue to believe in myself! You help me achieve my dreams! Most importantly, you are always there to support me year after year, so know that you are greatly appreciated!"
