Bike winner in Bayou Vista

Each nine weeks, one Bayou Vista Elementary student’s name gets drawn from among those on the Principal's List or Honor Roll, or for being a recognized for positive behavior to see who wins a bike. For the first nine weeks of 2025, the winner is fifth-grader Sarelin Lopez. She's pictured with Principal Kiante Gunner. The bike was donated by Abears Home Renovations.
