Berwick High's new poet laureate

Berwick High School sophomore Cherish Lewis, holding certificate at right, was recognized by the St. Mary Mary Parish School Board on Thursday for her poetry. Her poem "A Broken Home" appears in Expressions, a national publication featuring poetry by young people.
