Bayou BBQ Bash winners
Adam Gautreau of Cajun Blaze took home the championship trophy and belt buckle for the second straight year at the weekend's Bayou BBQ Bash in Morgan City.
In addition to the overall championship, top prizes went to winners in the Cannata's Kids Q and the Mata Tellman Dessert contest, as well as the Corporate, Parish and People's Choice categories. The People's Choice prize is new this year. People who attended the BBQ Bash could buy a $10 wristband that provided access to sample trays and the right to vote for their personal favorite.
More winners will appear in Wednesday's edition.
The bash was hosted by the Marine Corps League's St. Mary Detachment.
