Basin Brew Fest has large attendance
Perfect weather helped to bring out hundreds of patrons to the Basin Brew Fest held Saturday in downtown Morgan City.
According to the events Facebook page, more than 10,000 sample cups were used.
Some of the proceeds from the non-profit event will go to the Block 27 Project which is the initiative to renovate Lawrence Park in the historic downtown Morgan City area. Also benefitting from the event is Rescue Revolution, a Houma area dog rescue.
Live music during the event was provided by Forgetting Last Friday.
