Another juvenile arrested on battery charge

\St. Mary Parish deputies on Thursday made their fourth arrest of a juvenile this week on either fighting or battery charges.
St. Mary
Sheriff Blaise Smith reported that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and made these arrests:
--Juvenile female, 15, Patterson, was arrested 12:21 p.m. Thursday on a warrant alleging simple battery. The juvenile female was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
--Alira Dasjanea' Ashanti Clark, 22, Gibson, was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Thursday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana, violation of uniform controlled dangerous substance law (drug-free zone), and consumption, possession, or distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in presence of a person under 17. Bail was set at $5,200.
--Lavonne Marie Johns, 29, Larose, was arrested at 11:08 a.m. Thursday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a charge of possession of heroin. Bail has not been set.
--Renieka Augustina Clark, 40, Patterson, was arrested at 1:04 a.m. Friday on charges of speeding, open container and driving while intoxicated. Bail was set at $4,750.
Morgan City
Interim Police Chief Mark E. Griffin Jr. reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 37 calls for service over the last 24-hour reporting period and made these arrests:
--Shaqunia Marie Harris, 28, Federal Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 12:48 p.m. Thursday on four counts of failure to appear for trial (6th Ward Morgan City Court) and failure to appear for arraignment (16th Judicial District Court).
--Jermaine Harrison, 23, Duke Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 7:17 p.m. Thursday on charges of driving under suspension and disregard of traffic controls.
--Shemar Timothy Navarre, 20, Apple Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:17 p.m. Thursday on a charge of obstruction of a public passage.
--Wilbur James Richard Jr., 38, Second Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:09 p.m. Thursday on charges of disturbing the peace (fighting), resisting an officer, battery on a police officer, bank fraud and theft (under $1,000).
--Linez Dandre Green, 29, Ridgeway Street, Thibodaux, was arrested at 5:23 a.m. Friday on charge of possession of marijuana, possession of alprazolam and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Assumption
Sheriff Leland Falcon reported these arrests:
--Guy Matthew Mabile, 46, Pierre Part, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies responded to a Pierre Part address to conduct a check on Mabile.
Deputies located Mabile and noted him to appear under the influence of chemical substances.
Once inside a small shed, deputies secured consent to search the area and did recover assorted drug paraphernalia as well as methamphetamine.
Mabile was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center with bond set at $25,000.
--Lance David Metrejean, 45, Bayou Driver, Pierre Part, was arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a person under 17 and probation violation.
Assumption Parish Sheriff’s narcotics officers conducting a continuing investigation developed information that indicated that Metrejean was involved in illegal drug trafficking or distribution.
As part of that investigation, agents went to a location on North Bay Road to interview Metrejean. At the conclusion of the interview, agents determined that additional investigation was warranted. Agents requested con-sent to search the focus area from Metrejean. The suspect authorized the search, and that process led to the seizure of methamphetamine.
Lance Joseph Metrejean was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center with bond set at $155,000.
