Amelia water to be shut off Friday afternoon for repairs

St. Mary Parish Water and Sewer Commission No. 1 will turn off water service at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Amelia from the Conrad yard on La. 182 to Siracusa Subdivision to make repairs to the potable water distribution line.
Officials expect to shut off water service for two to three hours.
