Alternating lane closures Thursday on La. 182 bridges in St. Mary

There will be alternating lane closures Thursday in the east and west lanes of La. 182 on the Old Atchafalaya River bridge, Greenwood overpass and Old Bayou Boeuf bridge, in St. Mary Parish, for roadway maintenance, according to a Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development news release.

This work is estimated to take place from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., weather permitting.

All permit and oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass. There are no detours.
