All eyes on the river again

Morgan City closed three flood gates Monday as the Atchafalaya continued a slow rise. At 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Atchafalaya at Morgan City was at 6.84 feet and was expected on Friday to reach the 7.0-foot stage that causes moderate flooding.
