Parade for Berwick baseball team set for Wednesday

Berwick will celebrate the Berwick High baseball team's state championship victory with a parade at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The parade will go through Country Club Estates, taking the same route used for the annual homecoming parade. The parade will move down Hogan to Nicklaus, left on Nicklaus toward Trevino, left on Tournament to Hebert, right on Hebert to Pattie Drive, and left on Pattie Drive to end at Berwick High.

Fans are asked to line the parade route and celebrate the Panthers. If you are looking for a place to watch the parade, Pattie Drive would be a great location as the parade turns off of Hebert Street to end at the high school, the Police Department said.

Berwick beat Doyle 4-2 in eight innings Friday in the LHSAA Non-Select Division III title game.
