The St. Mary 10-year-old All-Stars won the District 3 Championship recently, defeating Franklin in a best-of-three series. It will compete in the Louisiana Dixie Youth South Regional Tournament in Morgan City, beginning Friday. Morgan City hosts Dixie Youth tournament

Three St. Mary Parish teams will compete in the Louisiana Dixie Youth North and South Regional Minors 10-year-old tournaments that will be held in Morgan City, beginning Friday and continuing through Tuesday.
Host Morgan City will compete in the North Regional Tournament along with District 3 runner-up Franklin.
In the South Regional Tournament, District 3 champion St. Mary Central will compete.
The tournaments are double elimination. The South Regional Tournament will be played at Cypress Park, while the North Regional Tournament will be played at Complex Park.
St. Mary Central will begin tournament action when it hosts District 8 runner-up Jackson Parish Friday at 3 p.m.
In the South Regional, Morgan City will meet District 8 champion Rapides East at 7:30 p.m.
Earlier in the day, District 3 runner-up Franklin will meet District 5 champion Monroe at 1 p.m.
Other teams in the North Regional Tournament are as follows: District 2 runner-up Lakeshore, District 7 runner-up South Beauregard, District 4 champion Shreveport Americans and District 5 third-place finisher Winnsboro.
Other teams in the South Regional Tournament are as follows: District 4 runner-up Blanchard, District 6 champion Gonzales Americans, District 7 third-place finisher Mamou, District 2 champion Pontiff, District 5 runner-up West Monroe and District 7 champion Ville Platte. The winners of the North and South regionals will meet next weekend for a best-of-three state championship series in Ruston.
