Days, times announced for St. Mary football playoff games

Central Catholic and Patterson will host first-round games in the Louisiana prep football playoffs.

Central Catholic, 6-3 and seeded eighth, will host No. 9 Ascension Catholic, 8-1, in Division IV, at 7 p.m. Friday.

No. 12 Patterson, 6-4, will be at home against No. 21 Donaldsonville, 7-4, in Class 3A, at 7 p.m. Friday.

Also in St. Mary:

West St. Mary, 3-7 and seeded 31st, will play at No. 2 Loreauville, 10-0, in Class 2A.

No. 15 Franklin, 5-3, will be at home against No. 18 D'Arbonne Woods Charter, 6-3, in 2A.

In Division IV, No. 15 Hanson Memorial will be at No. 2 Southern Lab.
