Central Catholic volleyball headed for Cajundome

Central Catholic's volleyball team will compete in the Division V state quarterfinals at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Cajundome in Lafayette. The Eagles, seeded third, will play sixth-seeded Ascension Catholic. Central Catholic made it to the quarterfinals with straight-game playoff victories over No. 30 King Charter and No. 14 St. Edmund. The Eagles are coached by Sunni Rae Blanchard and Heather Irwin.
