Two teens dead in alleged murder-suicide in Glencoe

Two teenagers died Tuesday in Glencoe in what authorities are investigating as an alleged murder-suicide, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum said in a news release.

At 10:14 a.m. Tuesday, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on La. 83 in Glencoe for a call of shots fired. Responding deputies located Naiasalyn Brown, 18, and Tyrell Bolden, 17, both deceased. As a result of the preliminary investigation the incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide, Anslum said. This investigation is ongoing.

As of Wednesday morning, investigators did not know who may have shot the other person and then committed suicide, Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Detective Whytley Jones said.
