Two St. Mary shootings; one arrest so far

St. Mary deputies are investigating shootings that damaged property in the western parish and have made one arrest.
Jaidyn Delasbour, 17, Patterson, was arrested at 8:44 a.m. Saturday on a charge of aggravated for criminal damage to property. Bail was set at $50,000.
.On Nov. 28, dispatch received a call of possible shots fired in the area of Chatsworth Road in the Franklin area, the Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies arrived at the location and found bullet holes in a vehicle, a fence and several houses in the area.
.SMPSO detectives were called to the scene and the investigation was handed over to them. Through the investigation, Delasbour was developed as the suspect.
After his arrest Saturday, Delasbour was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.
.In the second shooting, on Dec. 3, deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the Baldwin area. A female motorist reported to the Baldwin Police Department that her vehicle had been struck by gunfire on La. 83.
.SMPSO detectives were called to the scene, and as the investigation progressed, detectives learned that a house on Pinell Lane had been struck by projectiles.
