Three face charges after Amelia robbery

Parish deputies have arrested three people accused of threatening a man with a hammer and using pepper spray in an armed robbery.

St. Mary

Sheriff Gary Driskell reported these arrests:

--Jewel Ann Ross, 41, Morgan City, was arrested at 11:02 a.m. Sunday on a warrant alleging armed robbery.

--Lee Michael Boudreaux, 50, Amelia, was arrested at 12:13 p.m. Oct. 1 as a principal to armed robbery.

--Alexis Lacoste Gros, 29, Thibodaux, was arrested at 12:13 p.m. Oct. 1 as a principal to armed robbery.

On Oct. 1, a deputy was dispatched to a residence on North Verret Street in Amelia in reference to a possible disturbance in which a male subject was sprayed with an unknown substance.

The deputy made contact with the subject and, with the help of translation by a Morgan City Police Department officer , learned that his wallet had been taken from him in an incident involving two females and a male.

According to the subject, one of the persons was threatening him with a hammer when he was pepper-sprayed by another. The two female suspects were identified as Ross and Gros. The male suspect was identified as Boudreaux. The subject said Ross had taken his wallet and left the residence.

As the investigation progressed, Boudreaux and Gros were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking, and a warrant was obtained for Ross.

On Sunday, a deputy patrolling in Amelia observed the vehicle matching the description parked on North Verret Street. Subsequently, the deputy made contact with Ross and transported her to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.

Bail was set on Boudreaux and Gros at $40,000 each. Bail was set on Ross at $50,000.

--Kenneth Wayne Rollins, 35, Patterson, was arrested at 12:50 p.m. Oct. 1 on a charge of simple criminal damage to property. Bail was set at $5,000.

--Tasha Jesse Louis, 43, Franklin, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Thursday on a Jeanerette Police Department warrant. A hold has been placed on Louis by that agency.

--Sean Michael Hulin, 28, Jeanerette, was arrested at 10:18 a.m. Thursday on charges of possession of stolen things and possession of firearm with obliterated serial number. Bail was set at $17,500.

--Brandy Dawnstar Guidry, 42, Houma, was arrested at 12:29 p.m. Thursday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a charge of theft. Guidry was released on a personal surety bond.

--Timothy Francis, 38, Morgan City, was arrested by the Narcotics Section at 11:07 p.m. Thursday on an Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office warrant alleging maximum speed limit and operating a vehicle while license is suspended. A hold has been placed on Francis by that agency.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported these arrests:

--Dakota Lombas, 29, Egle Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. Friday on a charge of contempt of court and two counts of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court.)

--Michael Picone, 60, Roderick Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:32 p.m. Friday on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

--Humberto Almanza Gonzalez, 52, Ditch Street, Morgan City, was arrested 5 a.m. Sunday on charges of careless operation, hit and run, failure to report an accident, no driver’s license and no insurance.

--Alma Garcilazo, 46, Todd Lane, Patterson, was arrested at 8:34 a.m. Thursday on a charge of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Jayden Perez, 21, Barrow Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 6:17 p.m. Thursday on charges of careless operation of a motor vehicle, switched license plates, insurance required and no registration.

--Mandi Hatfield, 38, Florence Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Thursday on charges of possession of legend drug and improper lighting.

--Randolph Joseph, 33, Robert St. Franklin, was arrested at 10:42 p.m. Thursday on a charge of failure to appear for arraignment.

--Michael Noel, 53, Birch Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 11 p.m. Thursday on a warrant alleging possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Patterson

Chief Garrett Grogan reported this arrest:

--Aaliyah T. Goudeau, 30, Armentine Cove, Breaux Bridge, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. Saturday on a charge of simple criminal damage to property. Goudeau was issued a summons.

Franklin

Chief Cedric Handyreported these arrests:

--Troy Dyer, 51, Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested at 8:43 p.m. Friday on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, no insurance, no registration, switched license plate, lighted lamps required and expired vehicle inspection. Dyer was booked, processed and released on a $3,750 bond.

--Lexi Graciana, 30, Lafayette Circle, Lafayette, was arrested at 2:32 a.m. Sunday on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Graciana was booked, processed and released on a $2,500 bond.

--Darren Darby, 29, Isabella Street, Franklin, was arrested at 6:36 p.m. Sunday on a charge of theft. Darby was additionally arrested on a warrant for Elayn Hunt Correctional Center alleging second-degree battery. Darby was booked, processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
