Suspect accused of distributing methamphetamine

Morgan City police reported two methamphetamine arrests Thursday, including one for distribution.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded 28 calls for service over the last 24-hour reporting period and made these arrests:

--Damenn M. Engleton, 34, North Second Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:59 p.m. Thursday on charges of distribution of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, obstruction of justice, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane usage.

--Natasha Danielle Bergeron, 37, Charlotte Drive, Patterson, was arrested 9:59 p.m. Thursday on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Taylor Rene Culverson, 32, Rayne Court, Morgan City, was arrested at 11:07 a.m. Thursday on a charge of disturbing the peace.
