Robbery arrest in Morgan City; seven juveniles accused of fighting in Franklin

Morgan City made a robbery arrest this week, while Franklin police arrested seven juveniles in two days on fighting charges.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 100 calls for service over the last 48-hour reporting period and made these arrests:

--Jermario J. Williams, 23, La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:04 a.m. Wednesday on charges of simple robbery and four counts of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Myles Anthony Morgan, 36, Front Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 1 a.m. Thursday on a charge of failure to appear for imposition hearing (16th Judicial District Court).

--Kerwig Benitez Deleon, 24, Fourth Street, Morgan City, was arrested on 3:29 p.m. Wednesday on charges of criminal damage to property and failure to appear for trial (16th Judicial District Court).

--Boa Pham, 51, Bernice Street, Morgan City, was arrested 9:15 p.m. Wednesday on charges of domestic abuse battery (strangulation) and domestic abuse (child endangerment law.

--Issac Dewaune Jones, 49, Arkansas Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:41 a.m. Thursday on charges of resisting an officer, failure to signal, improper lane usage and no driver’s license.

--Pedro Nahun Gary Caceres, 24, Kemgoru Place, Kenner, was arrested at 10:37 p.m. Thursday on a charge of possession of marijuana. (Released on summons.)

--Chad Mitchelle Ferguson, 30, Levee Road, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:34 p.m. Thursday on a charge of failure to appear to pay fines (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Frank Frazier III, 35, Metric Blvd, Austin, Texas, was arrested on 3:41 a.m. Friday on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense).

St. Mary

Sheriff Gary Driskell reported that over the last 48-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 81 complaints and made these arrest:

--Deanna Irene Lutcher, 59, Jeanerette, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a charge of theft. Lutcher was released on a $1,500 bond.

--Ronald Joseph Morale Jr., 36, Breaux Bridge, was arrested at 5:19 a.m. Thursday on charges of maximum speed limit, obstruction of justice (tampering), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. for the following charges:

Bail has not been set at this time.

--Taylor Tharp, 30, Maurice, was arrested at 2:33 p.m. Wednesday on an Assumption Parish warrant alleging failure to appear. Tharp is being held for another agency.

--Tyler Meco Mathis, 32, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:33 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Jerrence Christopher Ford Sr., 36, Amelia, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday on a warrant alleging failure on appear on a charge of battery of a dating partner. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Danny Andorf, 49, Patterson, was arrested at 4:18 p.m. Thursday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on charges of failure to stop at a stop sign and operating a vehicle while license is suspended, revoked, or canceled. Bail has not been set at this time.

Franklin

Chief Cedric Handy reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to seven complaints over the last 48-hour reporting period and made these arrests:

--Juvenile was arrested at 12:41 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of disturbing the peace (fighting).

--Shon Johnson, 50, St. Charles Street, Thibodaux, was arrested at 6:23 Wednesday on a charge of disturbing the peace (language). Johnson was booked, processed and released on a $343 bond.

--Juvenile was arrested at 7:09 a.m. Thursday on a charge of disturbing the peace (fighting).
