Patterson, Morgan City police make drug arrests

Morgan City and Patterson police reported arrests on drug possession charges Tuesday.
Patterson
Chief Garrett Grogan reported these arrests:
--Octavio J. Fuentes, 41, Madison Kaye Court, Porter, Texas, was arrested at 2:21 a.m. Tuesday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute a Schedule IV drug, possession with intent to distribute a Schedule III drug and speeding 74 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Fuentes is incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with no bond set.
--Kerry L. Washington, 63, Grout Street, Patterson, was arrested at 7:15 a.m. Monday on a charge of theft. Washington is incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with bond set at $486.
--Maldonado G.H. Saul, 23, Grizzaffi Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday on charges of speeding 68 mph in a 55 mph zone and no driver’s license. Saul is incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with bond set at $570.
Morgan City
Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 41 calls for service over the last 24-hour reporting period and made this arrest:
--Douglas Dilsaver, 42, Sixth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. Tuesday on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana (first offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Franklin
Chief Cedric Handy reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to 29 calls for service over the last 48-hour reporting period and made these arrests:
--Trey Estelle, 33, Hawkins Street, Franklin, was arrested at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of simple battery. Estelle was booked, processed and released on a $2,500 bond.
--Jacoby Dorsey, 32, Shore Drive, Marinette, Wisconsin, was arrested at 9:02 p.m. Tuesday on charges of speeding and reckless operation. Dorsey was booked, processed and released on a $707 bond.
--Carl Dupas, 61, Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested at 8:23 p.m. Monday on charges of aggravated battery and simple assault. Dupas was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
--Thailan Armstead, 29, Chawee Road, Breaux Bridge, was arrested at 1:34 a.m. Tuesday on charges of switched license plate, expired motor vehicle inspection, proper equipment required, no insurance and no license plate light. Armstead was booked, processed and released on a $902 bond.
