One minor injury reported in Morgan City shooting

Morgan City police officers responded at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday to a complaint of shots fired on Ash Street between Second and Dora streets. One man had a minor injury in the shooting, police said. He was treated at Teche Regional Medical Center and released. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should contact the Morgan City Police Department at 985-380-4605.
