MCPD reports four drug arrests, two on domestic abuse charges

Morgan City police reported four arrests on drug possession charges over the weekend and two more on domestic abuse charges involving aggravated assault and strangulation.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported that over the last 72-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 121 calls for service and made these arrests:

--Patrick E. Arabie, 54, Seventh Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 7:28 p.m. Friday on charges of stalking, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of violation of a protective order.

--Jarred R. Gaudet, 33, Sixth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:05 p.m. Sunday on charges of methamphetamine, possession of alprazolam, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

--Herbert Brown, 40, La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Saturday on a charge of possession of marijuana.

--Jose E. Cisneros, 43, Miami, was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Sunday on charges of possession of crack cocaine, obstructing public passage, hit and run, and disturbing the peace (drunkenness).

--Kenneth H. Flores-Hernandez, 27, Roderick Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:29 p.m. Saturday on charges of domestic abuse aggravated assault, domestic abuse aggravated assault (child endangerment), disturbing the peace (drunkenness), and resisting arrest or officer.

--Ernest T. Woods, 40, Carol Street, Thibodaux, was arrested 2:55 a.m. Sunday on a charge of domestic abuse (strangulation).

--Steve M. Scully, 57, Palm Street, Morgan City, was arrested on at 4:01 p.m. Friday on a warrant alleging three counts of failure to appear (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Mitchell A. Martin, 38, Dayton, Texas, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. Saturday, on a charge of disturbing the peace (fighting).

--Dayshaon T. Pete, 20, Lizabeth Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. Saturday on charges of disturbing the peace (fighting).

--Leland F. Fuller, 51, Fayetteville, North Carolina, was arrested at 3:33 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense) and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

--Anna M. Stewart, 51, Pueblo Drive, Houma, was arrested at 1:32 a.m. Saturday on a charge of obstruction of justice (tampering with evidence).

--Clayton Aucoin Jr., 47, Belle River Road, Pierre Part, was arrested at 8:44 a.m. Sunday on a warrant alleging failure to appear (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Nyla Kay Davis, 23, Egle Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 8:13 p.m. Wednesday on two counts of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Axel Daniel Rodriguez, 20, Millard Lane, Millers Creek, North Carolina, was arrested at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday on three counts of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Anndy Jafet Jimenez-Sanchez, 23, Egle Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 4:08 a.m. Thursday on three counts of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

St. Mary

Sheriff Blaise Smith that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 26 complaints and made these arrests:

--Nicole Michelle Bonvillain, 42, Thibodaux, was arrested at 4:44 p.m. Thursday on a probation violation. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Matthew Ryan Senette, 39, Centerville, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Thursday on charges of simple criminal damage to property and violation of protective orders. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Heather Nicole Plaisance, 31, Houma, was arrested at 8:53 p.m. Thursday on a warrant alleging failure to appear the charges of possession of methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule Klonopin. Bail has not been set at this time.

Franklin

Chief Cedric Hardy reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to 17 complaints over the weekend and made these arrests:

--Quincy Roberts, 29, Labau Street, Baldwin, was arrested at 2:54 p.m. Friday on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court alleging failure to appear on a charge of possession of marijuana. Roberts was booked, processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

--Shardi Howard, 37, Manuel Lane, Jeanerette, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. Friday on warrants for Jeanerette City Court alleging failure to appear on charges of disturbing the peace and speeding. Howard was additionally arrested on a charge of criminal mischief. Howard was booked, processed and released on a $768 bond.

--Nicholas Morris, 39, Oakdale Street, Franklin, was arrested at 11:05 p.m. Saturday on a warrant dated July 2, 2017, alleging driving under suspension, hit and run, careless operation, and no proof of insurance. Morris was booked, processed and released on a $2,500 bond.
