Drug, crash-related arrests reported locally
Morgan Chief police reported three arrests on drug charges, and St. Mary Parish deputies arrested two men on charges related to traffic accidents.
Morgan City
Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 81 calls for service over the last 48-hour reporting period and made these arrests:
-- Danny Lee Andorf, 49, Diane Lane, Patterson, was arrested at 9:55 pm. Thursday on charges of improper lane usage, no driver's license and two counts of failure to appear to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Jadi Nicole Guerrero, 35, Diane Lane, Patterson, was arrested at 10:26 pm. Thursday on a charge of possession of marijuana.
--Alton Michael Kemp Jr., 38, Verdun Lane, Centerville, was arrested at 8:55 a.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana (first offense), obstruction of justice, criminal damage to property and remaining where forbidden.
--Gared Christopher Stevens, 44, Arenz Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 6:32 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of disturbing the peace (intoxicated).
--Billy Turze Townsend, 31, Mallard Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:02 p.m. Wednesday on charges of failure to appear to pay fine and failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Maurice Lewis II, 34, Thais Road, Prairieville, was arrested at 12:21 a.m. Thursday on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense, possession of hydroxyzine, improper lane usage open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and tall lights required.
St. Mary
Sheriff Gary Driskell reported that over the last 48-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 71 complaints and made these arrests:
--Harold Mahan, 66, Pensacola, Florida, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Thursday on a charge of theft by shoplifting, as well as failure to appear warrants out of Thibodaux and Livingston Parish. Bail has not been set at this time.
--William Paul Moore, 23, Franklin, was arrested at 11:19 a.m. Thursday on charges of reckless operation (with accident) and negligent injuring. Bail was set at $5,500.
--Milton Guy Aucoin Jr., 50, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:38 p.m. Thursday on three warrants alleging failure to appear. Bail was set at $5,000.
--Kendell Dwayne Johnson Jr., 18, Patterson, was arrested at 9:05 a.m. Thursday on a charge of simple battery. Johnson was released on a $2,500 bond.
--Tylon Jarmol Holland, 24, Franklin, was arrested at 7:49 p.m. Wednesday on charges of hit and run and failure to report accident. Holland was released on a $1,250 bond.
Franklin
Chief Cedric Handy ?reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to five complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period and made this arrest:
--Joseph Nedd, 59, Tabor Street, Franklin, was arrested at 8:03 p.m. Wednesday on charges of unauthorized use of an access card, theft, illegal possession of stolen things , and misrepresentation during booking. Nedd was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
