Battery, domestic abuse, drug arrests reported in St. Mary

Suspects face charges of battery against emergency room personnel, domestic abuse and drug possession after arrests over the weekend in St. Mary Parish.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 136 calls for service over the 96-hour holiday reporting period and made these arrests:

--Anthony Terrell Dixon, 33, Everett Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:27 p.m. Sunday on five counts of failure to pay fine (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Dain Ryan St. Pierre, 30, La. 1, Raceland, was arrested at 2:04 a.m. Monday on a charge of battery of emergency room personnel.

St. Mary

Sheriff Blaise Smith reported that over the last 96-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 172 complaints and made these arrests:

--Russell Glenn Eary, 60, Franklin, was arrested at 7:18 p.m. Saturday on a charge of resisting arrest or officer. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Matthew Ryan Senette, 40, Centerville, was arrested on at 3:14 p.m. Monday on a charge of protective order (felony).

--Denniell Reiko-Leilani Daigle, 38, Franklin, was arrested at 3:19 p.m. Monday on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and protective order (felony). Bail has not been set at this time.

Franklin

Chief Cedric Handy reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to 26 complaints over the holiday weekend and made these arrests:

--Rachelle Madison, 54, Easy Street, Franklin, was arrested at 4:12 p.m. Friday on a charge of remaining where forbidden. Madison was booked, processed and released on a $500 bond.

--Javien Francis Sr., 26, Guilbeau Road, Lafayette, was arrested at 9:46 a.m. Saturday on charges of speeding, possession of marijuana and no driver's license. Francis was additionally arrested on warrants for 6th Ward Morgan City Court alleging failure to appear on charges of resisting an officer, possession of marijuana and contempt of court, and on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court alleging failure to appear on a charge of criminal neglect of family.

Francis was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

--Danaecus Taylor, 24, Third Street, Franklin, was arrested at 10:59 a.m. Saturday on a warrant dated Jan. 11 alleging domestic abuse aggravated assault (child endangerment) and false imprisonment. Taylor was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

--Nicole Bonvillain, 43, 10th Street, Franklin, was arrested at 4:27 p.m. Saturday on charges of possession of alprazolam and possession of marijuana. Bonvillain was additionally arrested on a warrant alleging probation violation.
Bonvillain was booked, processed and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

--Travis Boatman, 43, Carl C. Foulard Drive, Franklin, was arrested at 5:37 p.m. Saturday charges of aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce, aggravated flight from an officer, two counts of aggravated criminal damage to property, possession of MDMA, establishing of a speed zone, seven counts of stop sign violation, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, reckless operation of a vehicle, security required, owner to secure registration and possession of a legend drug without a prescription.

Boatman was additionally arrested on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court alleging failure to appear on a charge of criminal neglect of family, and a warrant for 15th Judicial District Court alleging failure to appear on a charge of resisting an officer. Boatman was booked, processed, and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

--Carlos Francis, 27, Ledoux Circle, Patterson, was arrested at 11:03 a.m. Sunday on charges of speeding and reckless operation of a motor vehicle. Francis was booked, processed and released on a $643.70 bond.

--Latre Rideaux, 32, East Simcoe Street, Lafayette, was arrested at 2:59 p.m. Sunday on charges of speeding, expired license plate and no insurance. Rideaux was booked, processed and released on a $1,000 bond.

--JaQuincy Mouton, 30, Elizabeth Plessala Lane, New Iberia, was arrested at 12:50 p.m. Monday on charges of no driver's license, possession of synthetic cannabinoids and abuse of toxic vapors.

Mouton was additionally arrested on a warrant for Jeanerette City Court alleging failure to appear on charges of simple criminal damage to property, simple assault, telephone communications improper language, harassment and simple battery, and on a warrant for Golden Meadow Mayor’s Court alleging failure to appear on charges of speeding and no driver's license.

Mouton was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

--Shawn Jenkins, 47, Morris Street, Franklin, was arrested at 1:09 p.m. Monday on charges of remaining where forbidden, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of Schedule II drugs. Jenkins was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

--Jaydon Richard, 18, Lee Charles Street, Franklin, was arrested 4:52 p.m. Monday on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court alleging failure to appear on a charge of simple battery. Richard was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

--Austin Antoine, 29, West Pershing Street, New Iberia, was arrested at 5:52 a.m. Tuesday on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court alleging failure to appear on charges of operating a vehicle while license is suspended and window tint. Antoine was booked, processed and held with no bond set at the time of press release.
