Battery among charges in St. Mary arrests

Local police agencies reported five arrests late this week, including one for battery.
Morgan City
Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 82 calls for service over the last 48-hour reporting period and made these arrests:
--Justin Earl Stratton, 34, La. 70, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:13 p.m. Wednesday on two counts of domestic battery, simple battery and disturbing the peace (intoxicated).
--Kevin Charles Billiot, 52, Bucks Lane, Franklin, was arrested at 12:22 p.m. Thursday on three counts of failure to appear to pay fines (6th Ward Morgan City Court), failure to appear to pay probation fees (6th Ward Morgan City Court) and probation violation (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Steve Michael Scully Jr., 38, Dixie Court, Bayou L'Ourse, was arrested at 2:12 p.m. Thursday on two counts of failure to appear to pay fines (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--David Allen Ackman, 43, Vine Drive, Morgan City, was arrested at 11:16 p.m. Thursday on two counts of failure to appear to pay fines (6th Ward Morgan City Court)/.
Franklin
Chief Cedrick Handy reported that the Franklin Police Department responded to three complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period and made this arrests:
--Tyasia Wilson, 20, Malcolm Street, Franklin, was arrested at 3:13 a.m. Thursday on charges of flight from an officer, careless operation, one way roadways, five counts of no turn signal and four counts of stop signs. Wilson was booked, processed and held on a $78,250 bond.
