Area police report five arrests

Morgan City and Franklin police reported five arrests Wednesday and early Thursday.
Morgan City
Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 35 calls for service over the last 24-hour reporting period and made these arrests:
--Frank Rock, 37, Andrew Street, Patterson, was arrested at 12:07 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of remaining where forbidden.
--Richard Desmond, 43, Mike Drive, Patterson, was arrested at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).
--Rachel Vidos, 47, Neptune Street, Bayou Vista, was arrested at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of simple battery.
--Robert Watkins, 46, Garber Street, Morgan City, was arrested on charges of keeping a vicious dog and allowing a vicious dog to roam. (Released on summons.)
Franklin
Chief Cedric Handy reported that he Franklin Police Department responded to 16 calls for service over the last 24-hour reporting period and made this arrest:
--Roger Sullivan, 62, Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested at 4:43 a.m. Thursday on a warrant for 3rd Ward City Court alleging failure to appear on charges of no license plate light, no driver’s license on person and no insurance. Sullivan was booked, processed and held on a $353 bond.
